Nokia 6255 is a good and useful cdma handset. It is the best cdma handset launched till date. This handset has many exciting features like Camera with flash, Videocamera, Bluetooth, Infrared, MP3 player, FM Radio etc.
It has got dual colour display. It also has Photo caller id with which you can view the incoming callers picture. It also has Voice recorder.It has got a speaker phone.
This handset support’s memory card also so you can put a 512MB or 1GB Memory card to download loads of songs, videos, photos etc.So this handset becomes your MP3 Player and photo album.I have put a 1GB MMC so currently I am able to download about 350 songs, which is great!With the speaker phone you can play the songs loud to show your friends and family.
We can also use it to access the Internet with R-CONNECT (Reliance Infocomm). We can use Internet through the data cable or even through Bluetooth USB Dongle, which is a vey good and useful feature.This handset supports R-WORLD, with which we can access 24x7 Live News, City Guide, Tv Guide, Watch Videos and many exciting features.
But this handset also has some drawbacks:Cannot download any games, softwares, themes because it does not support OS Symbian software and it is not a series60 handset. It is a series40 handset. The video recording is only uptil 3 mins maximum and it does not increase even if you put a larger MMC.And lastly its bulky looks but does not matter too much because you get so many exciting features.
I am using this handset since Aug, 2005 and I am very satisfied with its features so I would surely recommened anyone who is willing to pay Rs 13000 + the cost of accessories(Like Bluetooth dongle, Memory card etc).
