I was so eagrly waiting for a new model in the CDMA range that I couldn’t resist buying this lil piece!
This phone is a relief for the CDMA users.
To begin with:
The phone is light weight and easily fits into the hands. The looks are stunning and the phone slides in a sleek manner. I cant resist sliding the phone every second when its in my hands!! The display is brilliant. Could be comparable to a computer LCD clarity. The wallpapers in the phone are cool! There is option for screensavers and themes which are not available in nokia 6255.
The phone comes with a mini 64mb memory card which is to be fitted on the top of the phone, a good looking earphone, the battery ofcourse(same one in nokia 6255), a charger, a charger extension for old nokia chargers, manuals (ofcourse!!) and a cd which contains the pc suite.i had troble installing the pc suite from the cd but reliased that i had the same version I installed from the internet earlier. I had a data cable from my old N9500 which is compatible with this phone (thank god!!) which helped me transfer my contacts from my N6255 to this one. I am able to browse internet with the same on reliance and its pretty good. Coming to features of the phone.... the 2 megapixel camera wasnt upto my expectations. The VGA camera in N6255 and N9500 were far much better!! Imagine!... when you click photos, it takes time to save it and then you will find red dots on the photo when you view the same on the comp. A button on the side of the phone makes it easier to use the camera like a real camera with zoom options. The video quality is better. One thing I would like to mention here is that the phone can be used like a torch light by using its flash in video mode. it really good
You can store 500 contacts in the phone which I guess is very less..i have 450 contacts already. the phone runs on a sim card provided by the CDMA service provider( reliance, in my case). But this sim card wont work on a GSM phone. The music clarity on the loudspeaker is just ok . it is just a forgettable feature. One thing good about the phone is the no. of games. It has 4 games-Chess puzzle, golf tour, highroller casino, snake III. each game has different levels and modes of play which gives more variety. the graphics of the games are good. highroller casion has 4 different casino games in it. games/themes/screensavers/softwares can be downloaded from the internet onto the phone. one suchwebsite is https://getjar.com. The phone is overall value for money. if not atleast in CDMA range in India. If you are game for some cool looks and features...go get it!
