Ive edited this on 1st August.
I have been using the phone by Tata for about 4 months now. It has all the basic functions and blue tooth, 2 mg cam, video, fm etc. The point is that I am paying almost 18 grand for a phone which was touted as a gem but is actually a rough cut stone. The phones battery is not very impressive, it just lasts 2 days, probably cause of the large display. The volume with or without headphones is pathetic, you cant hear songs if you are on walking on streets, you have to be inside a quiet room. The mediaplayer is very slow to load. The FM radio is just basic. All in all it is just a basic phone. But I didnt have much choice at that time.
I ve put a 1 GB sd card which allows me to store a lot. While the concept of having the flap on top so you can remove the card without opening the battery cover is good, if you remove the card without swithing off the phone the phone hangs and doesnt respond even to switch off. You have to remove the battery and reboot. So what was the point in keeping the sd card on a easily accessible if you still have to switch off the phone ? ? Beats me ! The 32 MB card which comes along in the package is joke, considering you are paying 18 green backs, they could have given a decent 256 MB atleast. I still dont understand why Nokia cannot give a data cable along with phone capable of data transfer ! ! ! !
And the camera is not all that great. Once you have transfered your pic to a computer the quality is bad, but looks good in the phone screen. And yeah the camera has a strange problem like one of those mentioned here, all blue screen in periphery and real colour in the center. Quite amazing that Nokia is losing their touch in qaulity control and r & d that they have not noticed this ! ! !
If you are a Nokia freak you probably will like this phone. But I really would not advice on buying this. I am seriously planning to switch to Moto Q. Waiting for someone to write a review
