This is an awesome phone right from the moment you switch it on. This is what you can call a complete phone. I never understand why people need build-in-cameras and color screens in their phone. I phone is a phone and shd look and work like one. With its 200 message capability and 1000 phone book 4 level entry, its one of the best phone you can get your hands on. No wonder that most of the Ministers, VIPs and upper society people use this phone. Its 3 minutes voice-recorder is an asset for recording two way conversations while on the talk!! GPRS and Bluetooth are perfect. 6310i’s light weight and long life battery make it a handy phone. The phone comes with a software suite CD and synchoronizing with your pc/ laptop is a breeze.
I am using this phone since last 3 years and I had a slight problem only with the phone hanging and rebooting at times, which got solved with a software reload. Its sad to see that despite India being such a big market for Nokia products we dont get this model in the showrooms, except for in the grey market. Nokia 6310i is made either in Germany or Finland which explains its good quality.
I hope one day Nokia realizes that Indian market should not be fed with ’Made in China’ handsets, which are poor in quality and work life; rather we should get handsets from Germany, Finland or Hungary which are of a better built. We pay the same amount or at times more than the prices aboard for the same set, and get a poorly built ’Made in China’ handset !!
