My Nokia 6340i is simply the best phone I have ever experienced. I’ve had it for probably about five years now and it’s still not showing any mechanical problems and the battery still holds its charge longer than any phone I have seen(my 6340i can stay on for almost two weeks without a low battery warning).
Now the monochrome screen is very outdated like the phone itself and it dosen’t have as many features as most of the other phones of its era but that all dosen’t really matter when the phone is just so impervious to any sort of damage known to man.
So far my 6340i has survived being dropped several hundred times on any surface imaginable which is common to most phones but not usually over a hundred feet which has occured on multiple occasions.
Now it gets a bit more interesting; its been driven over twice(once on purpose), its been chuck out of a passenger side window on the higway at 70mph and recovered(not intentional), its been.err.how shall I put it.used as a hackey sack, stood on several times, dropped into lake over the side of a boat(luck a friend was swimming and grabbed it before it sank to the bottom, and was dried out later), left in the oven, frozen in ice at the entrace of my driveway for a week and we found it by hearing it ringing backing the car out(the phone had to be chipped out of the ice), if that weren’t bad enough i’ve used it to beat on/throw at/kick at my friends thick skulls for the past four years at least; and somehow I still use it as my alarm clock every morning.
This phone manages to get signals where brand new cellphones can’t. I haven’t got any plans on getting rid of it any time soon, especially since its been to eight different countries with me on five different continents( and dropped on them too)
Please excuse all the() I love using em’; and yes i’m very clumsy with my phone mostly because I know it will survive anything.
