Why did I purchase this product?
I got it as a birthday gift from my dad. It was the latest one at that time and he got it for me november last year...
What do I like and dislike most about this product?
I love things that last without any maintenance costs!!! My Cell has been once such thing. A year from the date I had it, and it still looks the same, works the same way and I have never had to worry about anything.
Its photo graphic capacity is not much as to be compared to the latest ones these days... but, the gallery consisting of songs and video clips is superb. I have a 256MB card in it, and it suffices for me. So far I have stored things worth only 23 MB.
I have had many a good pics taken by it, , and I keep all my family members pics in it too so that they are always with me. I have their voices and videos of memorable events recorded just so that I dont miss them thousands of miles away.
It takes quite amazing pics even at night. I would have loved the original video capacity to be more than a minute, its just 10seconds., but with latest softwares you can prolong it as much as you want.
The best thing about it is the joystick. Most of the other phones have a button for it with four directions which sometimes makes it very clumsy to use. I am pretty attached to this joystick thing, and I guess I will , in future buy another one with a similar centre key.
The coolest thing is there are lots of softwares available for it. AntiVirus, antimosquito!!!! ( this one is very effective in india ), MP3 players, Video players, photo enhancers, black listers ( to keep those hopeless callers away)...
and the bestest thing is the screen.. Very big screen, gives you some real good view of pics you have taken or the ones you have stored. I use the blue tooth to keep it updated and connected with my laptop. And PC nokiasuite is a wonderful software.
the earpiece is also perfect and so far hasnt been any problems with it.
The hearing quality and voice quality is excellent, which can only be matched by higher models. The sound quality of songs is ok with the speaker , but excellent with the earplugs.
On the disadvantage side.
it has a large size.. but I love it for its largeness now, because I have never lost it.. You cant miss leaving it on table, restaurants or elsewhere. and
if its in your pocket, there isnt a chance of its falling out and your not knowing.....

The contacts list is also very userfriendly and uptodate. There is a separate and easy way of writing words and numbers, and you dont have to switch in between them a lot of times. The dictionary, as with all nokia sets is very upto date too. With a software named FS, , the pic of the person who is calling you comes on automatically....
The software ppl are really intelligent n very smart....
Why did I choose this brand over others?
I had an earlier nokia 3250 which lasted a good 5 years with the same battery!! I have seen lots of people having problems of this and that with samsung and motorola, especially once they start aging.
So I had a bit of trust on the name of this brand more than others...
