6610 (with ivory case) is really cool & majestic model that Nokia has in its archives.... To be frank, I’m very much biased towards Nokia even though there are other brands, giving out more features at no cost.
I was having 3210 previously, then the cool & trendy 8250... now I’ve got into the color revolution with 6610. I appreciate the Look & usability of the phone for which there is literally no match in this world. The FM Radio is really innovative and a great relief during long travels.
The biggest thing is its Battery life. It withstands 4-5 days, where my previous ones used to fail on every two days. The next biggest thing is the Speaker phone, which is very much useful. The ring tone is simply fantastic and steals the charm wherever I go.
The disadvantages I see is, everytime you need to carry the headset to hear the Radio. There’s no option for changing the screen saver. No ringtone composer in the handset, you need to compose it using the PC Suite. The display screen is very dark and you cannot see anything if you are right below the sun. And to be honest, a bit bulky compared to 6100. No Xpress covers. The default Black color is horrible.
I haven’t used the MMS facilities yet, as my provider is not equipped with them as of now. But I’ll recommend this model for its overall features and its executive look.
