Have been using the 6610i since August ’05.
I had seen a few friends use the 6610 (without the camera) and liked its Organiser features. When I saw a 6610i at about Rs.7, 200 at Big Bazaar, I could not resist buying it.
Within about 2 months the display screen started fading. Now the instrument is in a cyclic stage.... at times the screen is spotless and bright, at other times it is so dull and spotted that I cannot read anything at all. This is without changing any settings. From the reviews I read on MS, understand this is a common problem.
Now I am wondering if this problem is on phones purchased from "cheapest price guarantee" stores or genuinely a product problem.
While ease of use and range of features are reasonably good, the phone is difficult to use because the screen is not clear most of the times. Definitely a bad buy for me and will change the instrument soon.
