This was what I was looking for

After using a varied variety of mobiles, browsing through a lot of sites for product quality, value for money and other criteria, I settled for Nokia 6610i. And after spending some 4 months with it, I find it was a good decision to go for this model.

Nokia does sell some really good phones, which no doubt are a value for each penny u spend. I got it for 10k, and was really glad to own it at places where I forgot to take my camera along. The picture quality is not something to brag about, but yes, its quite clear for a camera in a mobile. The pictures have a bit of distortion at the edges, a bit of which can be taken care of by any photo editors.

You can easily transfer the photos using either an IRDA port or a DKU cable. Its as easy as transferring data from one drive to another. You can either use the Nokia PC Suite or any other phone manager to manage the phone data. However, one negative bout the IR connectivity is that you can only transfer business cards to other IR enabled phone.

Unlike Sony Ericsson T 610, where you can transfer all the applications including games, pictures, tones etc. (also the picture quality is far better) But you do not have the option of a radio available with T 610. This was my companion in Bangalore, where I didn?t have access to music (Bangalore had only one radio channel :( ) . The antenna of the radio is in its earphone attachment and the sound is REALLY clear.

The phone is highly customizable. You can have everything customized to suit the way you want your phone to be, whether it be the look of the menu, the keys you use, the background color, the wallpaper, whether u need it or not, the skins that you want and the list goes on.

Also I trust Nokia cause of its sturdiness. Its dropped from my hand once or twice, and the phone still works gr8. The look of this is better than 7250i, though both are exactly the same type of phones, in term of specs. So if you go for a Nokia, you already have a good bargain, but this is one of the best.
