I had a Samsung C100, and a few days ago my brother was with me for a week. He has just completed his MBBS and has a 6600. Seeing and experimenting with his 6600, my phone really bugged me, and I strived for upgrading my phone. And, thus came the decision to change my handset.
The research began, and I found myself on a Nokia Priority Dealer on a saturday along with my wife... I checked out 6600, and the upper model 3230, but my wife’s choice was 6681 because of its smart looks.
I was a bit reluctant because of the hefty price tag it carried (as per my standards) , but, now, there was no choice, the next day saw me visiting that store and actually buying that phone.
And, beleive me, I AM NOT REGRETTING MY DECISION AT ALL.
The phone is really great, with its good camera (1.3 MP), it outbeats many good phones out there. The set is really goodlooking. has good reception (my home happens to be out of the circle areas of Hutch).
The speaker is really good.
MP3 player... if you put on the headphones, you really can bea iPOD.
Video, great, I think I can become a movie director now.
One of the great features is Hot Swappable MMC card, in most of the phones, you have to take out the battery to take out the card, but this is great, you can change the cards while the phone is ON.
Screen, really good colors and good size.
Brightness, I can see everything even in sunlight and pitch dark.
and when dark, the button colors are really good looking.
well, I think I am out of words, I have seen many phones, but this, , , , , is really the winner.
Go for it.
I think the fact that you cannot change the colors is a plus point, as the default silver is really great
Price....
18300, from Nokia Priority Dealer, and maybe you will get around 500 cheaper from local dealers.. But my advice is, dont go in for the saving of 400 bucks, maybe you end up getting a duplicate battery.
