Well..firstly, am sold out on Nokia - They have the most friendly and intuitive user-interfaces coupled with great features - catering to every class of individual - whether you are a suave corporate guy, teeny bopper or you just need a functional Cell Phone.
Features that stand apart:
Real Sleek Cell with a fair sized screen.
Love the Phone Book - Can store multiple #s (Home, Off, FAX, Postal Add, Email, Website, Notes) under one name and the cute icons identify where the call is coming from. So no more - Nikita-Res, Nikita-Off1 Nikita-Off2 etc.., simple Nikita!
Dynamic Memory - so you use it for your phone book or your 200 odd crazee Messages - your choice. Typically about 500 #s - thats real comfortable.
Speed Dial - Cool - Would like to see them program the phone to store more than 10 Speed Dials.
Voice Dial - Real Cool - works like a charm - even with the phone at a comfortable distance. And you can even activate other functions - such as - Profiles, Radio (ah ha), Infra Red, Voice Mail, Recorder)
Messages - Sort those Important Messages, Mushy SMSs in separate folders - you create them. Ready templates(Text & Pictures), and you can store more.
Decent History of Missed(10), Recieved(10), Dialled (20) Nos.
Profiles - Pretty good tones, you can even time the profiles to switch back to the General mode. You can receive tones, tho u cant send them!
Network - Great - that too with an internal Antennae.
Cool Games - Ski, Bumper, Snake, Pairs - when your kept waiting...
Handy To-do List & Calculator
Great Calendar functions with Reminders (wz auto repeating).
Infrared too!
The Radio works real great & goes with the stereo Hands-free kit. Automatically mutes wz an i-c call.
WAP - enabled - cool for all the times am out or when MTNL is down and out.
And thrown in some accessory features as well - Voice Recorder, Count Down Timer, Stop Watch.
Good talk time.
GPRS - well ur ready for it when its available!
Was waiting for all of this since the 7110.
Well, couple of things I miss - wish the Infrared could send Messages, etc. as well and not only Business Cards.
Go for it!
