Nokia 8800 is just Exceptional in design.Though it weights about 134 grams but 15 mm in the narrowest places, attacks Motorola Razr V3.The whole body is made of steel which is used for making luxury cars and watches.The slide construction is just effortless, it is even better than Samsungs.

The Display is worth some words, it has 262 k colours and brillant resolution of 208X208.Moreover, 8800 has 175 dpi which is same as laptop or pc display.Expectedely, Nokia 8800 comes up with Series 40 user interface which is similar as 6230i.

The fixed camera of Nokia 8800 is on the sliding part, so when you have the phone closed, the optics is protected.Nokia 8800 comes up SVGA camera(800X600).The camera is Nice but atleast the makers must have come up with 1 megapixel camera.It also has 4x Zoom.

Sound output, Memory and Ringtones:
The Sound output is very good even in crowded places.The sound is Crisp and clear.The phones has 64 Mb of NAND Flash memory but there is no memory card slot.Ryuichi Sakamoto has composed the ringtones for the new Nokia. I must confess that I don’t have any idea who is he. Definitely it doesn’t sound to me very exclusive, as well as the melodies themselves.

On Whole, Nokia 8800 meets Expectations.Though it comes up with a tagprice of 40, 000 rs The new owner may be sure that he will rarely meet another one with the same phone in his hands. Shortly after, he might regret only for the reason that Nokia didn’t finalize some details for a full satisfaction. Such as - the lack of memory card, the need of non-stop cleaning of the metal body and the slides, the lack of good handsfree and the lack of system connector.
