This phone is not just a phone...believe me... you can call it a mini laptop or a mobile pc...it has all the functions of a computer but is limited. there is presentation viewer, excel, word, real one player..etc.. I was able to connect it to the pc and moved some excel files to my communicator. I downloaded some songs on the internet which I later shifted them to the communicator. I tried shifting some photos which are higher that 100k (space) but it is not possible to view them in the communicator as the image will be very large and the communicator’s memory will not be enough to open it.. the small pictures appear well and it has a good colour resolution..the games in the comm. r quiet good...the internet facility is also good as we can view all the pages as they appear on the pc...unlike gprs whic doesnt have a good appearance..the unit converter software is a cool thing if you are really interested in science....you can record you voice and for that matter you can spy on anyone by keeping the rec on. its a wonderful equipment but is little longer in size so it doesnt fit in ur pocket. the 15 mb space which is provided in it is not sufficient if you wanna keep more multimedia stuff in it... the .wav files can be put as ringtones plus the nokia cd had some good ringtones to download from. its negative points are that it doesnt have mms facility and even bluetooth. and the outher cover of the phone has just basic features of a phone which is not that appealing. the infrared helps in connecting to other nokia phones better. one good thing is that sms can be stored to any number.. at present I have about 101 sms in my folder. the contacts directory is a vast ocean in which
h u can store e-mail addresses, b’days , 2 to 3 ph nos, postal addresses an any field u lke can be added. the calender system is a bit confusing and more complicated than other nokia models which will take some time to understand.. the clock function shows world time with sunrise and sunset time and I matched it with the newspaper and it was almost the same .... you can set the time according to the place u move to...there are a large number of profiles which are not required ...the flight profile lets u use ur comm. as a pc which will not allow any wireless functions....the outer cover doesnt have auto text function which makes it difficult to write sms ..the hands free mode is ecxellent which helps u talk so freely and easily that u dont feel like calling form another phone...on the whole its a cool phone to do time pass with...its a value for money buy!!!!
