Nokia Asha - Not up to the mark

Bought Nokia Asha 200 on 12th of January 2012. It looks like a Blackberry mobile but at a very less price than that. Nokia Asha 200 is the first phone to have an Indian name from the mobile market leader’Nokia’.

It’s good on sound but only when you go for additional head phones, not with one that are provide with the new set. Camera is of 2 megapixel but is very disappointing when it comes to video recording, but yes, still picture clarity is nice, very sharp.

The one feature which I loved about this mobile was the FM recording feature as the recording is as clear as if live FM is being heard. You won’t be able to mark the difference between the two for sure.!

Battery is a bit bigger to that of regular Nokia phone batteries but it also disappoints us when it comes to the battery life. If just one bar of the battery is reduced then too you will have to recharge it for at least 2 hrs. and if the battery runs out completely than it has to be recharged for a maximum of 3 to 4 hrs. and yes, that doesn’t adds to the talk time, overall, a real disappointment where Nokia promises talktime of 7 hrs. & music playback of 52 hrs.

Last features which I found nice in a phone of this price range is of it being a Dual Sim & Qwerty key pad phone which are really in demand now a days.

Finally, I would like to say that this phone is just made for college going students who prefer a complete package of Qwerty keypad, Mp3 Player, FM with recording, Dual Sim etc. etc. etc. at a price range under five thousand

Corporates & serious mobile phone users, I would not suggest this phone to you.
