Friends, This is going to be a detailed review on New Nokia C1-01 mobile phone. I bought this on 31st December 2011 costing 2, 300 Indian rupees in Chennai. Before purchasing, I had dilemma whether to go for Nokia or Samsung.
But I haven’t used Samsung mobile at all as I am addicted to battery backup of Nokia and it’s user friendly interface. I went to showroom and asked the dealer about the review of Nokia C1-01 and Samsung Hero Music.
Though the dealer was very interesting in selling Samsung phone and did not tell a word about Nokia, I was very keen in taking the Nokia C1-01.
As per my view, Its the best deal I got. Except Camera quality, rest everything is excellent.
Excellent Battery Backup (Without using Music 3 days and if you frequently use music, nearly 2 days).
Elegant Design and Big Screen (Nice quality of color).
GPRS, Internet, BlueTooth.
Detailed Message view.
Good quality of music player (Nice sounds including ring tone).
Expandable up to 32Gb microSD card.
Alarm clock, Audio Recorder, FM recorder, Timer, Stop Watch.
Pre-loaded 3 games (Bounce Tales, Snake III and Solitaire.
Though the MegaPixel in this model is very low, you can upload photos from computer and do all kinds of editing from mobile and use it as Wallpaper etc.
Some of the thing which I feel missing.
No Flash Light.
Music player opens little bit slow when using my 4GB card.
Display goes dark after few seconds as power saver mode...and its not showing time/date on home page after few seconds like other Nokia basic models.
There is no specific settings in Display to cut short the background light or extend the time (Power Saving Mode settings not there).
Apart from the negative points, I have got more that what I want for 2, 300 rupees. This mobile will be good choice as per my view.
