I purchased this mobile today (15/10/2010) and felt that the mobile is good. I purchased this mobile for rs 6500 in kerala.the package contains set battery heads charger menu book with guaranty card1 free airtel sim with 6 months free internet.coming into the performance, the home screen is good with some widgets and quick launch icons.it uses old s40 interface and what I didn’t like is the big notification and boring fonts.it have some nth themes preloaded in it.
the sound of the phone is not up to the mark.hope they will solve it through a software update.the keypad is of good quality but it is crowded with english, hindi and signs and alphabets.beginners will fell it very difficult to use the keypad. coming into wifi, it works good .opera mini is preloaded but download option is not available.i checked with opera 5 and it also does not support download.
then coming into camera , it is basic like nokia 6300.headphone is of low quality but luckily it has a 3.5 mm jack.we can use our own headphone with it.i think battery will only stands for 2 days since it has a steel battery cover.it will absorb heat and reduce standby time.so we should charge it every day.the price is expected to fall within one month and after 2 or 3 months the price will be steady at around 5700-5800 rs.if you can hold on till that period you will get the fone at best price.also since it is new it may have many bugs and it will be debugged in the coming firmware update.so I suggest you to wait atleast for 45 days before you buy.
overall it is a best phone fone
