I have new Nokia 202 which is under warranty only by document . I had the touch pad - not working issue, twice . First time I got warranty support from mumbai nokia. But few days after service I again got the same issue . Now I approached the Chennai Nokia(Rocky Agencies near Satyam cinemas), where they told that the mobile is having water inside . They I asked the person to show the water drop inside . He was not able to show it, but showed some place as if it was having invisible water drop there .
Im an electronics engineer with 8 years of experience of circuit boards, but this nokia cust care persons are fooling me . After telling this he was searching for some other reason in the mobile . Then he told that there is a small scratch in the side cover of the mobile, so it is physical damage, cant give warranty support . Then I asked him not to give silly reason to avoid warranty support and help customer in a possible manner .
But he finally refused to give warranty, instead I should pay 1600 Rs for changing touch pad . For this 1600 he argued with me a lot .The cost the new mobile is around 3500 only . Out of frustration I left the Nokia show room .
In the same showroom I had one more person with same Nokia 202 - Touch pad issue . Where this people have charged him 1600Rs for service - Very bad . But that customer spent that money to get his mobile back alive . Nokia is Cheating innocent people
Same like this I had C6 01 mobile complaint - for which Nokia refused to give warranty support earlier .
I would like to inform you all that =="NOKIA is loosing it quality nowadays - Dont go for Nokia =="
I request Nokia to better close this customer care centre if they are not able to correct there products issues. And dont expect the customer care centres to generate more money by cheating the customers who believed Nokia is reliable brand.
