I want to share my feedback on my new C6. I was using nokia 3610 for last 7 year. Even though it still works well, I opted to get first smartphone for myself. As I have been out of sync from cellular market for so many year, it was really difficult, at first, to search for what I wanted. Market is really flooded with phones with great features and brands like micromax, samsung, have taken competition to new level. They offer phone with great features as such lower prices as compare to nokia, sony ericsson, that you are really tempted to buy them.
The easiest way for me to get a shorted list was to go for established brands like Sony and nokia, which I did. My requirements initially were phone with querty keypad especially slider, bluetooth, wifi, gps, touchscreen, good battery backup, good camera, and may be good music in range of 10k to 14k.
My first requirement slider querty shortlistet two phones for me SE xperia mini pro and nokia C6.
SE xperia had smaller display, no secondary camera, smaller keypad, lighter than nokia, capacitive touchscreen and a bit higher price. Rest all features were same in both. Also both phones are 3G enabled. I went for nokia for its brand image and added feature. Also the sales guy told me that SE will give less battery backup as compared to nokia.
gsmarena.com was really good site which helped me to compare these two phone.
After using my nokia for 15 days now, I am really happy with it and I found following features to be very useful:
free navigation. I find it really useful. Just type the destination and you get voice based navigation. Maps are free from OVI.
responsive touchscreen.
I really like its keypad, keys are adjacent to each other, but are shaped in such a way that it does no hinder fast typing.
good camera
nice big touchscreen 3.2
Good battery backup (2 days) with regular calls, navigation and mobile internet usage.
Overall I would say that its really value for money for anyone buying his first smartphone should have a look at it.
Will add more exploring more....
