Why E6 is not a good option to buy?
Ringer Volume is not audible in outdoors.
Very poor Vibrator(Almost useless)
Removal of important features from E72(like Auto focus camera, Notification lights, Track pad navigation)
Symbian Anna is old wine in a new bottle. Way behind Androids.
Touch Screen is not at all helping. Rather it increases the complexity because of smaller screen size
Processor remains almost same. Not sure why Nokia hesitates to cross 600 MHZ mark when all of its competitors crossed 1 GHZ with price lower than that of E6
Shortcut Key layouts are not as straight forward as E72 / E71. Not user friendly
Nokia India has numerous quality issues unlike Nokia USA and Europe. For India region, cheapest chinese imports are being used.
The icons in home screen and menu looks so messy and glaring with black theme.
Phone Color options are not professional(Other than Black, Silver and White looks ugly)
Nokia OVI store doesn’t offer much compared to Android market
VERDICT:
For those who are looking for an upgrade to E71 / E72, certainly this is not the one to go. Stay with E72, I bet you will rejoice all its capabilities. To me Nokia E6 doesn’t make your life better in terms of business or functionalities. All you are going to get is a new screen with attractive animations and graphics in the sacrifice of few important features. Symbian Anna is the same piece of junk, nothing much can be expected compared to its predecessor. Removal of vital features like Effective Vibrator, Auto focus camera, Notification lights, Track pad Navigations is a blunder. Touch Screen is going to make your life complex unlike the non-touch version E71 / E72. For a 16K price tag, Will you afford a downgrade to E72? Choice is yours.
