Nokia E6, a phone which uses its own mind

I have been using Nokia E6 for the past 6 months and I must say, this is the worst phone I’ve ever used. I wouldn’t mind exchanging a first generation Nokia phone with this. And if I had enough time and energy, I would meet the product development team and tell them what a horrible experience they have given their customers in the name of a "smart" phone.

The problems I’ve faced are countless, however I’m outlining a few here:

  1. The phone decides to start playing music, go mute, put the call on hold, switch on the speaker or just dial someone else when I am in the middle of a serious business call. Like, who on earth wants to have background music when they are speaking? And who wants the touch screen to be so sensitive to hit the earrings or my hair and do whatever it pleases to?

  2. If you wish you to include someones address in the contact details, why does nokia have to go all out and locate that person on the map for me? Cant it just show the address?

  3. Why cant I search up a person based on his company name or the designation? Why do I have to remember his name or go through the complicated route of changing the settings?

  4. If I go to the recent calls list and notice 5 missed calls from a person, why can I not see when the person made those five calls right there? Why can I not see the duration of the call?

  5. If I open a contact, why can I not copy the number and paste it anywhere else, without going through the start button?

  6. What do all the features mean to me, when basic dialling and messaging is so difficult?

  7. Everytime I touch a number in the recent calls, why does it have to call that person again? why cant it just open the call and give me its details?

Nokia should realise that customers still use their phones most for sending and receiving calls, sms and mails, rather than playing random games and using their apps.
