This is my first review on Mouthshut. I got this device about a week back and I am totally impressed with it. Some of the best things.
Value for Money: Before buying this I looked at various other options. But this was one of the best in terms of features and price. The features I was looking for were QWERTY keyboard, Quad-Band, Wi-Fi, Music Player, Multiple Email setup, good battery life. Plastic quality is very good and believe me it’s not worth spending Rs 7000 more and buy E71. I think it’s little unfair for E71 buyers as they
QWERTY Keyboard: Keyboard is extremely smooth and I got used to it only in couple of hours. I have typed good long messages without fingers getting tired.
Multiple Email accounts: You can setup multiple email accounts. I ahve setup my office email using "Email for Exchange" and the personal emails using nokia push emails. Although I removed the push mail service after two days as I found it little annoying. But office email is greate and use it on Wi-Fi all the time as I have to switch between office and I don’t need to carry my laptop.
Wi-Fi and Browser: is exteremly responsive and gives a great speed. Now I don’t open my laptop at home for surfing internet for small-small things. Browser is also very good having zooming option and it tells you that where exactly are you on the page.
Music Player: 3.5mm jack is great. I now play my music from phone on big speakers from phone. Greate experience, something totally un-heard on a business phone.
IM: I am not a big chatter but If you are someone who likes chatting a lot, there is a feature to setup IM(yahoo, hotmail etc.) on this device, something again that’s not typically found on business phones.
Home Screen: On home screen you can setup the information you want to see all the time like meetings, notes, reminders.
All in all I am very happy with this phone. Only two things I don;t like:
No dedicated power-down button: Till date I have have accidently shut down the phone atleast two times, which is annoying.
Hangs: It hung up once while I was receiving the call, I have read the same problem reported my some other users as well on the nokia forums.
