I have used a lot of Phones and this one is one of the best I have used. Good Design, Easy Navigation, Loads of Features.
It’s really good for business use and the Web Navigation is fast and reliable. The browser could have been better.
Flash Player, Real Player & music player are available with Phone. You can add additional as per your requirement. The flash player is handy as videos downloaded from You Tube can be loaded to keep you amused. The sound clarity of the Music Player is good, not as great as any phone from the Walkman series would deliver which is just a cut below Apple’s ipod (Some hard core sony fans disagree with me, But I’ll stay with Steve Jobs’ product)
The office features are pretty robust and useful. No other phone in this segment could let you zip documents, View Texts, html and PDFs with such ease. You’d need additional software to do anything with MS word and the likes, but does ease your job.
The web browsing is pretty fast and the navigation is not messy unlike other phones which do not use a standard browser like IE or Firefox. However, your speed will also depend on the Service provider you are with.
I spend 3-4 hours of the day on the call and haven’t had any issues with it, The sound clarity, loud speaker and bluetooth headset (not standard) work fine.
I was disappointed with the camera. My old 7610 and 6680 were better than this one. The 2.0 MP camera is a joke and photos becomes almost unusable after you transfer it to your PC. If a good camera is ’Must have’ in your list, scratch this phone off.
The battery life of the phone could have been better, but if you aren’t a very heavy user, it should be fine.
All in all, If you need a good business phone, Go for this one. If you are looking for entertainment Go for Nokia N73 or W or K Series phones from Sony.
