These are the good things about this phone.
- The metal backplate adds great flaunt value.2. It has all the functionality covered.3. Camera produces descent images.Even the videos are good.4. Keypad is a boon for business use.5. Optical navi key works great.6. GPS is very good. helps a lot when in unknown lands.7. The screen is very good, even under direct sunlight.8. Has a very good battery life of about 4 days on a single charge.
Then the bad things about this phone.
- The build quality is worst I have seen in an E series phone. All the parts just dont gel together very well. You can see gap in every join.2. The software crashes way too often.(I have upgraded the firmware to the latest OTA update v31.x available)3. Sometimes refuses to pick up the signal when my old 5800 keeps up steadily.4. The speedy processor doesn’t helps. It takes its own sweet time for everything.5. The bundled headphones are cumbersome to use and doesn’t even feature a media remote.6. The screen and backplate are fingerprint magnet.7. The loudspeaker is weak.8. Operating the camera is very clumsy operation. Autofocus is useless without a dedicated shutter key.
I have been using this phone for last 2 months.Based on my experience with this phone I can safely conclude the following.This phone is only for those people who eat, sleep, walk, talk business.If you want email just as an add on, then there are just too many options available at this price point giving access to email.Also the flaunt value of this phone is greatly reduced by the flood of all the cheap QWERTY devices.
