Nokia Lumia- Poor Product & Pathetic Service India

I have been a loyal Nokia Customer for last around 6 years. But recent transaction has shown why Nokia market share is going down day by day & hour by hour. 1st of all the product quality is very poor & to add more salt to dish, they have most pathetic services to be offered.


New Nokia Lumia 520 got its half touch screen sensitivity lost in less than a month from purchase. They have something call Nokia Care (should be called as Nokia Don’t Care) which I believe has been outsourced to some of the local IT player in market.


As per them, they could see some small damage near top right corner & they declared it as Physical damage (not sure how?) & forced their decision that it doesn’t get covered in warranty. Further they asked around half of the device cost for replacing only top screen (Inside display screen is perfectly fine).


Further, their Executive started filling the Job sheet details in system which is visible to both Executive & Customer. When I asked why you are putting YES to a line which ask "Customer agrees to the feedback given by Nokia" they changed the status to NO after checking with one of their Senior members.


I am going to throw the worst device & make sure no one else buy Nokia in my circle. For guys who are reading this, please don’t buy Nokia just because they offers 1 year std warranty same as everybody else but please compare the warranty services which is been offered by Blackberry, Apple & Samsung etc.
