I Purchased a Nokia Lumia-610 about eight months back and I had been having a tough time ever since. It went to Nokia care for three times this period and is yet to be returned to me even after a month :
Basic issues :
Its drive is not accessible and Requires Zune (inspired by perhaps Steve Jobs) a proprietary software which allows only " media" transfer not Exec files or Office Files.
There is no way you can enhance external memory, again an Apple Pad inspired concept
A Windows phone does not play all formats normally played by Windows.
Configuring Wifi needs You to a CCCNA at least.
Version of Software had to be reloaded as nothing was working. They dont even tell You that The Earlier version had a bug and You can get it changed at "Nokia Dont Care" centre and when you do, all the data is lost.
It prevents You from storing contacts on SIM so that you are forced to stick with the Lumia family, as the contacts are only in Phone and Nokia live, which cannot be copied to other Phones. If lose Your Nokia You have to buy another. What ever repair the do all data incl contacts is lost.
Folders cannot be easily created and used.
I gave phone for microphone defect and it came back after Three weeks with the same defect after collecting 1800 Rs. They dont care to test. It again went back to Nokia Central Care and delivery schedule is not given.
To top it all the front Office dont know anything Other than Kannada N call You Tum.
So much for claims "Connecting People" , if this attitude continues they will end up disconnecting their "monopolistic" products from Indian Market. If any one is interested in using MRTP against Nokia India, I am game with them and they may send a message.
