Nokia Lumia 730

I ordered this phone in flipkart on 21-oct, after waiting almost 10 days. I was trying to order every day since nokia unvailed this in india on 10-oct. and found sold out immediately after the stock is replenished by Flipkart. Ordered on 21st evening around 2000 hrs and flipkart service is outstanding. Same day midnay 0109 hrs the item has been packed and ready for despatch. You really rocks flip kart. Thanks for serving us flipkart as the place which I am staying is a remote place(75 km away from a city).

Really awesome phone.

Battery life - Extra Ordinary. I tested it on all front.

The entire day, WiFi is on, mobile data is on.(when there is WiFi the phone automatically connects and change the data to wifi instead of mobile data). after a 12 hours of usage(nominal usage), still the battery shows 56%. Awesome battery life. No comparable phone in the market can compete with this phone with 2220 mAH battery. Don’t compare this phones battery life with a 4000 mAH battery supported monster phones.(still this phone can beat that stuff in battery life - I can assure you.). The battery saver helps in saving battery life in a better way. And those complained about battery life, use battery saver to auto cut off the unwanted Apps running in the background.

Operating System:

The windows operating system 8.1 really rocks and knocks you out. the operation is butter smooth. No hanging.No lagging. 1 GB RAM is to much for the OS.

Touch:

My finger nail can operate the phone. Touch sensitivity is superb. With the super sense touch the OS looks very fluid.

Camera.

Stand out performer in crowd.With 6.7 MP primary camera. it can beat even 12 mp camera phones. My 7 MP digital camera with flash fails in front of this phones primary camera. The secondary camera with 5 mp, covers lot of area behind you.

Apps.

All the apps required for me was available. 2 days back only I downloaded Asphalt 8(air born) for testing(978 mb size of single download).it works fine. I am not a gamer so I cannot give a correct input on gaming front. I am also a freelance apps developer, you can get almost all the apps available in windows phone store and it is growing fast.

CORTANA

the Cortana will be a very useful. just saying OPEN FLIPKART will automatically open the flip kart apps. and to make a call just say "CALL " with the name from the contact. It automatically understands the word call and find the contact and make the call for you. Amazing.

Cons:

1. Earphones are only good for calls, nothing extra ordinary. Better get a new one for music.

   
   




2. No data cable in the box.

   
   




3. Cortana not yet available in India.
