This is my 3rd Windows Phone. Earlier I had used HTC Radar and HTC TITAN. Before these windows phones I had been using iPhone 3G. I was very impressed with HTC Radar, even more impressed with HTC TITAN but Nokia Lumia 920 has completely bowled me over. It is an excellent phone with great build and finish. The OS version 8 is even more advanced with a few very neat features over Windows Phone 7.5 like:
1) Multiple item selection to perform batch operations
2) Fairly customizable start screen which allows you to pack even more live tiles and makes much more sense.
3) Over the Air OS updates.
4) Kid’s Corner.
5) Family Rooms.
6) If you are busy in meeting and you receive a call in the middle, you can now hang the call with immediate text reply message. Very Neat.
7) Wallpapers that make sense unlike the useless live wallpapers of Android that just eat your battery with useless animations.
8) Nokia collections of apps including City Lens, Smart Shoot, Nokia Drive etc. which are far better than any of the apps provided by other Smartphone manufacturers.
The best part however is the Camera. Its a blitz to use. The photo quality is absolutely Gorgeous. The Videos are non jittery with optical image stabilizer in built. Sound from phone speakers are good as well.
