Say no no people who give a bad review to N-Gage QD

The Nokia N-Gage QD is good for more than just gaming. It has the potential which you have to exploit.......and you need to know how to exploit it.....and I will tell you how to.......

First of all N-gage QD has been made smaller than the old N-gage.......just a bit larger than a 6600. It has a shape similiar to that of a Gameboy Advance, (or a 6600 held horizontally). At Rs. 10000 , a Series 60 phone is a STEAL ! One can compromise on the size, for the phone which has the best speaker....only next to P900. It has an MMC slot which is accessible without opening up your phone and removing the battery , unlike other phones. It is available in different colours and separate Express-on covers are available in the market as well. Unlike the old N-gage, QD has a front talk phone design. Weight: 143 g (with standard battery) , Dimensions: 118 x 68 x 22 mm, 123cc. It has a talk time of 5 hours, battery life of 11 days on standby and 10hrs of continuous gaming !

Coming to the software specs....... The menu is like a 6600s , for those of u who haven’t seen a 6600 or a 3650 or a 7650 , its in a grid view. It has bluetooth connectivity which gives it the capability of wireless multiplayer gaming and quick transfer of data. It has a Symbian series 60 v1.2 operating system. It has a decent 3.4 MB internal memory and external memory cards can be used as well. It has text messaging, MMSing and e-mailing capability. With capability to open xHTML web pages , it can also act as a modem for your PC. It supports monophonic, polyphonic ringtones as well as wav ringtones (also called singtones).

OK....but the phone is still boring, right ? so here comes the fun part .... stuffing up the n-gage qd GPRS is a fun thing........fun for downnloading stuff......like cool software and games Here is a list of some of the softwares that are gonna make ur phone ROCK!!

Smart Launcher

People say that the n-gage qd’s menu sucks. With smart launcher you can emulate themes....change icons have menu backgrounds, designate shortcuts.......in a way change the original menu into a completely different funky menu

Wild Skinz

Remember whenever you hit options a pop up opens up...? Its all white with black text. But with Wild Skinz , a wooden panel can pop up, or a metal sheet, or a spiral shade can pop up.

SeleQ or File Explorer or eFileMan

These are the most important softwares without which a phone is incomplete. They act as Windows Explorers for your phone....enabling u to organize your phone , clear messy stuff, hise important thing etc.

Ultra MP3!

As the name says .... its an MP3 player....better than the one which Nokia offers. Customisable skins, playlists , equalisers........this is winamp for ur phone! If u have a memory card with decent space, u can load up your phone with mp3s and rock the party with QD’s super speaker.

Agile Messenger

Hey ! MSN Messenger or icq or Yahoo for ur phone ! With agile messenger u can access all these.

Surprise Jelly

This is a great image editor, allowing u to bloat , pucker or move an image.

Call Cheater

Do u have a sticky friend who keeps calling u.....this is the perfect software for u to avoid him/her. U can play different background noises...for example traffic jam, rain, construction .

AM-Answering Machine

The name says it all.....it is a free answering machine for your phone and u can have a welcome message etc.

Pallette Extender

The original phone has 3 colour pallettes- Red , Grey and Magenta . With this u can add many more colours .

Another photo editor with 3d effects....
