Allrounder in Indian sense

We are discussing a phone suitable for Indian needs, leave apart the Jazzy features like 3G, 5MP camera, huge screen etc .

Considering the cost of the phone(9k as on 21st nov 2007) compared with the features it provides, it undoubtely emerges as the real "ALLROUNDER" amongst all the currently available sets in the market .

I had been using this cell for the past 1 year and never found a software bug in it, apart from the fact that it is very slow compared to other brand cell phones(i would blame the symbian OS for this sluggish performance .but it can be overlooked considering the tremondous amount of 3rd party applications that can be used on this OS)

CAMERA -> the videos taken by N72 are the best in the 2MP category, it has a frame rate of 15FPS which is really good considering the pixel count . I agree the picture quality is not that gr8 for still photos, but the inbuilt flash comes handy for night mode . All in all its a good camera for videos .

STYLE -> I would give a 10 on 10 for the style .the glazing black body with the shiny back camera slider is a attention seeker . Towards the negative side -the black lustrous body is a fingerprint magnet also .

SOUND-> The integrated MP3 player works really good, there are buttons to fast forward and rewind also . There is a Real player which plays most of the videos . I personally dont feel a need for a separate MP3 player over this phone

BATTERY-> This phone sucks really bad when it comes to battery life .it has the same battery BL-5C which is used in all the NOKIA cells(even the 1100), the battery lasts hardly a day with average usage(2-3 hours of music on headphones and 1 hour of talking)

Overall its a paisa vasool .:)
