I got my N 73 in July 07 for 15.5k. I think N 73 is a perfect phone for intermediate users who would like to use it for good camera with carl zeiss lens, good sound quality in both headphone and speakers, storage capacity 2 GB and expandable, kool skins/ themes, pretty decent videos, good bluetooth, high battery life( I used it continuously for 8+ months for more than 7-8 hours a day without any major heating probelms or hanging issues).
The looks are sturdy and it weighs a little more and sometimes most my friends used to call it a brick and used to laugh but I always had the laugh when I saw their devices( moto/ samsung) getting stuck/ hanged/ damaged due to heavy usage/ falling frm hand once/ failed the water test etc.
Its big screen, intuitive navigation makes it user friednly for writing big n quick smses( trust me I have tried/ used this 100s of times for writing detailed smses very quickly) besides an additional feature of copy and paste( which I cudnt find in any equivalent samsung/ sony/ moto) device.
I dropped my N73 almost every month(unintentionally though) and everytime got surprised to see no or very little scratches.though as compared to latest smart phones it lacks certain critical features like Wi-Fi, Edge, GPRS and some mite prefer a touch screen.so its a definite No for touch screen freaks.oflate HTC has launched quiet many handsets in this range loaded with features but still I have not seen too many ppl using HTC in my vicinity.yet
