NOKIA N95 A feature packed Mobile Phone

Truly an amazing Phone by NOKIA. Excellent built quality and packed with features.

Dual slide allows easy access to multimedia on the phone and the normal phone features.

There is hardly anyting missing from this little device. Its your little buddy on the go.

The screen resolution is perfect and camera quality is more than impressive. I particularly like built in  WiFi capability as it especially useful when you take a photo and want to send it straight away over your home or work LAN to a friend or simply upload to your computer or server or even add to your online blog. Gmail works perfectly on this phone and makes full use of WiFi.

I only have good things to say about this phone exepct that if you leave the bluetooth on for the whole day then the battery may not last more than 1 day. However if you plan to doc the phone or charge it everynight anyway then it is not a big deal. Bluetooth and USB sync works seemlessly with this phone and the PC Suite on the computer. I think its worth mentioning that Nokia N95+ MS OUTLOOK+ Plaxo+ Google Calendar work in harmoney with each other allowing you to stay organised at all times

. N95 syns with Google calendar via OUTLOOK/Plaxo so basically you are always upto date.

I was not too impressed by the Navigation tool but its an added extra and does work but in my case I installed TomTom on the phone and mostly use that. The camera quality is orethan good enough and perfect for taking photos on the go as camera is always there when you need it. Video calls also work well but its not something I use very often. I like the fact that Nokia did not ignote IR port in this model and managed to include it as well as Bluetooth and WiFi. I make use of the IR when using the phone as universal remote control(not very often but its nice to have).

The key are perfect size not too smal and not too huge.Sound quality is good from the built in stereo speakers. Weighing at 120g the phone does not feel too heavy on the belt and I prefer to use a pouch compared to a clip as this allows easy access. Symbian OS allows installation of lot more applications such as TomTom, Gmail client, Prayer calculator, Quran reciter and many more. Upnp technology allows you to access your media files on your home or work LAN devices so that you can view photos and listen to music on your phone by streaming it via your local wireless network.

I would recomend that if anyone is looking to by this phone then go for the new N95-8GB as it has 8GB internal memory as well as improved battery life compared to N95. Oh! and 20x Digital zoom.
