Yes nokia xl is android phone but from my point of view its just waste of time to buy nokia xl too heavy nd bold its senser is too sensitive nd camera is also of poor quality for which nokia is famous my frd baught it and I used it too I was fed up with it in 2 days I may have thrown it in dustbin but it was not mine and I didnt have right if you want to buy xl u wants to buy a buffalo which dont gv milk
