Last week I went to Noodle Bar just adjoining Bombay Blues in Bandra for dinner with my friends. The first dish we ordered was soup. It was OK. Then we ordered the Japanese dish, some teriyaki dish which was priced at Rs 225. The dish came with noodles and chicken along with vegetables. The noodles were ice cold and the chicken and vegetables were stale with the taste of fungus inside them.
The restaurant is very smart as they heat the food very high before serving. Only once you have put the food in your mouth can you realise that the chicken was stale and stinking. I immediately spat out the offending food morsel and called the waiter and complained to him. He offered to bring me some other dish. I told him that I was beginning to be afraid of food poisoning at this restaurant and just wanted my bill. The manager did not bother to come and apologise inspite of my asking for him. So friends, just avoid NOODLE BAR unless you want to get food poisoning.
