Here's where you stop for Noodles

One fine Sunday afternoon, a couple of friends and me decided to go out for lunch. One of them lives in the suburbs and so we decided to meet at a place where we wouldnt have to travel too far, so we chose Bandra. Being a ’’townie’’, I had visited Bombays Blues a few times but never decided to venture into the restaurant just besides : Noodle Bar. So we decided to give it a shot that Sunday.

On entering we noticed that the place has a small bar, but was divided into two parts of which one of them has cushion seats and the other had wooden benches. We chose the former and a corner table. Why ? The seats at the center tables have no backrests !!

We decided to go for starters first, (ordered veg as non of us were interested in getting infected by the bird flu virus)and then going in for the main course. One of us decided to have a soup. They had a good range of starters to choose from, and the quantity of soup they served was more than enough for two !!

For the mail course, it was Noodles, something that they call ’’Top-it-Up’’, where you ’’MAKE’’ your own noodles. You get a form (initially we thought that we were expested to complete some survey !! lol) to choose what you want; the kind of noodles, vegetables, non-veg items, sauce etc. So you get to customize your noodles. Once again, awesome quantity and really really tasty.

The service was great. We didnt have to wait for long till we were served. The ambiance was good too. Coming to the cost, the meal for the three of us came up to a little over Rs.2000 which seemed to be quite decent.

In short, we had a good time.
