We had booked a 13 day package trip with North East India Tourism so that we would not face any problems in our trip.
But we have been facing problems with hotels and the standard of hotels booked and the places we visit right from day 3.
Once they get the full money they would not bother even to pick up the call. The hotel bookings were not done in advance. We used to stand on road during night not knowing which hotel was booked and on top of that these pathetic people does not even pick the calls guess what they had blocked all the 5 mobile numbers I had got. So every day I had to call from a different mobile number to know the hotel booked for that days stay.
The hotel names which they say does not even exist. We faced a lot of trouble during our 13 day iterny. We came to a point where we thought f this trip and lets go home but our flight ticket was booked for 13th day so we had to stay.
We paid 25000/- extra from our pockets for stay at hotels since the hotels were not booked in advance. Ashish Awasthi(tour operator) said I will be getting this money refunded, but now he is not even picking the call. These guys are shameless
Initially I showed the reviews about North East India Tourism on MouthShut.com to the trip operator, he said some of his competBrianbalakumaranrs might have written those bad reviews. But after choosing package trip with these North East India Tourism guys I came to know about this awful tour operator.
Such tour operators should be banned. We could not enjoy even a single day in our 13 day long trip.
I had encountered few tour drivers in our journey when I explained them about the situation, even the drivers told they had a bad experience with North East India Tourism guys and so they stopped working for them and there was one tourist who filed a fraud case this tour operator.
