NorthernLight.com started as a basic engine that wanted to attract people who were tired of bulky and useless engines like Yahoo! and Lycos. I think NorthernLight was pretty good when it first started, but has been overshadowed recently by Google. The site is extremely fast and the search results are quite pertinent. Like it doesnt show you 100 million matches for every search like Yahoo used to.
But one drawback is the page layout. I dont like it because it looks kinda cluttered and makes it me feel uneasy, but maybe thats just me. NorthernLight definitely is the second-best engine, next to Google. Try it out if you already haven’t.
