Well, I should say this guy definitely knows what he is doing!! The way he has taken us all along is something very very nice. I was so furious at my stomach when I had to keep this book down in order to finish my dinner. (Well, ofcourse, I was happy with my eyes b’coz I was able to forgo sleep!!!)
One can see that this is the first novel of the author. This might make you apprehensive about reading this book. But, believe me you will never regret. This novel is enough to gauge the author’s capacity. Infact, as the novels proceed, he has improved a lot. This novel had given him international fame almost instantaneously. He is one such novelist who will (& is) definitely giving Eric Segal a run for his money, in the ’’day-to-day life’’ novels.
It is worth every penny you put into. No wonder, He is famous. Well, am feeling bad such a good author’s career almost came to end b’coz of his imprisonment. But, ofcourse, he has come out with another one - PRISON DIARY. Yet, he could have come with a more impressive one.
