NOt just dosas has to realise that restaurants are not just about food. Eating out is an experience. It was a friday evening and four of us decided to try out not just dosas. When we reached , we were asked to wait for some time. The funny part was that we could see some empty tables inside. We , like good citizens of India thought that these tables were reserved by someone and they were going to occupy these seats. But no one turned up. So we asked and were immediately seated there, saying there was some confusion. After we sat we had had to wait for 10 minutes again and ask thrice for the menu card. Finally the menu card came. Now here, we had some interesting dishes to choose from. The menu is quite exhaustive with a range of dosas , italian, Lebanese and indian food. We ordered for a pizza, a mexican dosa, a paratha and falafel. The food came in batches , was cold and we had to beg for forks and spoons. So even though it tasted ok, we were so disappointed by the service that the whole evening was spoilt. After this we were given the finger bowls immediately without even being asked , whether we would like to have desserts. To add to it after 2 min someone came with the menu card and insisted that we try their desserts. To summarise: the attitude of the staff needs to change. With so many restaurants opening they cannot afford to give such shabby service. There would be many like us who would not go themselves and ask others not to go
