NPTEL is one of the best ever platform which provides E-Learning through online web and video courses in Engineering, Science and Humanities streams.
The mission of NPTEL is to enhance the quality of Engineering education in the country by providing free online courseware.
NPTEL is the great move by Government to promote E-Learning where we can get a chance to study from home with the help of video lectures from the most experienced and skilled lectures from different reputed institutions like IITs and NITs.
It provides different courses with free of cost to the students.Till now I have done 3 courses in NPTEL. The courses I have completed are Modern Digital Communication Techniques, Data Structures and Algorithms using PYTHON, Computer Architecture.
Lectures are provided by IIT professionals. The video lectures are very clear to understand. If any doubt arises, the IIT lectures will provide better solution within hours.
The course materials and video lectures are freely accessible.
In addition to these, it also provide Assignments on weekly basis. At the end we have attend the exam organized by IITs.
They will provide a merit certificate if we successfully completed the couse.
The certificate shows that we have capability of self learning and add points to the resume.
