WinAmp 2.75 is a better audio player than the ones before and this version the mini browser works this time. Very cool design, excellent sound quality and a good choixe of skins for your player. Very small in size unlike others like Real Player 8.0 and Windows Media Player and Quicktime 4.0. Overall its a winner. Get it NOW!!!
I have been using Winamp for around 3 years, and I still think it’s one of the best around. I admit, for a while I switched over to sonique, but I came back to it because sonique was getting a pain to use. Winamp is very easy to use, and ever since I started using it, I never had problems with it. I read the negetive reviews about winamp on this site, and some were about winamp taking over file associations, but this can be easily solved by selecting which files you want to use with winamp, this does not require a computer freak to do. Also, one idiot thought the winamp was a file sharing program, and compared to to napster. My only gripe about winamp is that when I load my files on the playlist, you have to manually scroll through the playlist to get winamp to calculate the lengths of the songs and this takes very long for me, I have many mp3s. I know this was a long review, but I just want to let everyone know that winamp is a good peace of software, people that wrote negatively about it probably didn’t have a clue about how to work winamp, although there were some valid remarks. But just try it out, I haven’t had a problem with it in 3 years.
