Lacks in business ethics!

Good collection of products and brands. Plenty of discounts to drool over. One of the smoothest mobile and web application to help you make a deal faster. However nykaa lacks in the most basic feature needed to sustain and excel in e-comm market: “customer service”. The moment when you want customer service apart from material products, they’re going to flunk that part.


I have ordered several times from their website and mobile app successfully until this one day. I ordered some makeup products on 18 of March ( late hours) via Nykaa app and paid online. By 19 March ( morning) it was shipped, so I contacted their customer care and asked to cancel it since the address was my previous one and I no longer live there. I guess it was my default address which is why they didn’t ask to confirm while making the order. Now the customer care representative ensured me to cancel it and refund the amount. I was tention free. The next day ( 20 March) I see my products have been stated “delivered”. That’s when the real torment from Nykaa starts. After the delivered status, every ticket I raise they say its delivered and close it as if I’m interacting to a bot, not a human. Next I try to email customer@Nykaa which never replies back! After several tries I finally call their customer service number explecting a human response, and all I get is a false nhassurance and a FAKE “delivered” proof that she ( nykaa representative) claimed was from their delivery partner.


Wow! Firstly you don’t deliver your promised services on time, then you try every possible dirty trick to mask it. On cost of what? Customer’s pateince and money, both. This is why most Indian companies fail to compete with their Intermational counterparts. Reasons - complacency, unethical practices aka scams and no respect for the customer!
