O General is one of the oldest company to supply air conditioners. Primarily designed for very hot countries like Dubai, O General has created flutter in Indian market since its launch. This company is formed by the union of two private companies, one Japanese and other of Dubai origin. It comes both as window AC and Split AC. Window AC is available in 1.5tonnes and 2tonnes variants and split AC is available in 1tonne, 1.5tonnes and 2tonnes. This AC is so designed to work under the ambient temperature of 60 degree Celsius as compared to other company ACs which primarily work at 40 degree Celsius. The price range of this AC is between Rs. 29000 to Rs. 70000 in Indian market.
The fan’s power to through the cool air is at 25 meters. The AC is famous among affluent and middle class alike. Though it is much expensive than other ACs yet the cooling power neglects the price magnitude. It can cool large halls with ease. The warranty provided is about 5 years and in case of any issue service provided will be free.
The main negative points, though not much countable, are sound, electricity consumption. The sound is very loud and annoying. The electricity bill will rise but longer hours of usage will lead to lesser per hour consumption compared to other ACs.
