I bought a Split inverter AC from O General. After a few weeks of usage, the inside unit of the AC started leaking water drop by drop. I wrote a mail to the customer service, they in turn told the dealer to send a repairman.
The dealer didnt send anyone for a week so I re-contacted them. This time the dealer sent a repairman. He observed the problem and took the AC to the workshop and told me it will be resolved in 2 or 3 days. After 20 days the AC was returned and after an hour of usage the water started leaking again.
This time the customer service told me they are sending some senior engineer or something from the state head office. Two men came and observed the problem and were not ready to accept that it was a manufacturing defect. So they changed the drain pipe and wrapped it with a thick insulating material. This didnt solve the problem, it just hid it from view. And now after several weeks, the problem has again started, but they are still not ready to accept that it is a manufacturing defect. They are just trying to stall so that the warranty period gets over and they can charge for the defect.
