Don, t Buy O General Air Conditioners - Quality and support suck
If you are educated(and little lucky) and can see this page, you will drop the idea of buying a O General AC after reading the text below.Poor Japanese company has worst customer support, they should probably stop selling AC in India
I purchased a brand new O general AC dated last year Mid July 2009.Found that the AC installing guys have hell lot of problems working and installing. Still took it lightly and managed to get it installed(No Major issue yet)I did not got much time to use since I left the country in mid September to USA.
In the mid of nothing in early May 2010, this AC got some fault without any reason. I lodged a complaint with complaint number MY250067 on O general Central Help line of Delhi. After a week(7 days!) a person came in with a under age boy and they took out a PCB from my AC.
This person again came after 15 days and brought a really poor quality component to replace the previously taken component this was so damn cheap quality that this new one broke during installation itself
This gentleman left and then No One turned in for a full Month(30 days)So I spent 30000 Rupees just to not have AC in June and July I called at least 100 time before they finally did the repair job in a more than 2 months time frame
Please drop the idea of buying O general AC .their support and quality both suck
