I was planning a 2-week trip to Rajasthan in February. Although the Internet has loads of information on Rajasthan, I was referred by a friend to Ocio Hospitality( http://www.ocioindia.com), a travel agency in Bangalore. When I contacted them, I had only 4 days to start my trip to Rajasthan as I was using my year-end leave and was planning to attend a friend’s marriage in Rajasthan.
Even with this short timeframe, Gopal, who runs Ocio, came up with a number of options that fitted into my schedule. As my friend’s wedding was in Jodhpur, he suggested that we start our trip from Udaipur and then travel to Jodhpur, onward to Jaisalmer, Bikaner and Jaipur, that way covering the whole of Rajasthan. The cost of travel was also within our budget; with an AC Qualis for all 10 days. The hotels booked by Ocio in each of the cities were ideal. The desert camp near Jaisalmer was excellent.
