While reading John Steinbeck’s masterpiece, Of Mice and Men, the reader is taken through many highs and lows. I read this book for high school, and absolutely love it. The subtleties in Steinbeck’s characters, George and Lennie’s relationship.. it’s all work of a sheer genius. I will reconmmend this book to one and all. It’s one of my all time favorite books, and I’ve loved every bit of it. For those who are unfamiliar with Steinbeck’s work, make sure to read East of Eden as well. East of Eden, in my opinion, is a little more fast paced than Of mice and men, and is also a beautiful book!
