One of the best...

If you want to be moved by a short and sweet novel...this is the one.

Of Mice and Men, portrays the tragedies and the hopes of real men in real situations. George and Lennie, both pursuing the american dream of being able to own a place of their own and be their own bosses. However the story goes way beyond the struggles of two ordinary mortals. It touches the fine strands of loneliness, innocence, friendship and discrimination.Infact, throughout the novel, a main characteristic most of the characters contained was being lonely.

The main thoughts which you can tak out of the book are:

  1. People need others to talk to to survive.

  2. A man’s ability to dream is directly attached to having someone to share the dream with.

  3. Sometimes, even though it’s not what you want, you have to do what’s best for you and those you love.

This is a must read.
