A Critical View

The main thing that prompted me to start reading this book was the fact that it is one of those famous book titles that everyone has heard of such as ’Lord of the flies’ or ’Animal farm’. I have been meaning to read these titles but’Of mice and men’stood out to me for some reason. ’Of mice and men; is written in a simple, easy to read style mainly because of the simple spoken english from Lennie and George. Compared to other stories it is a very short one. To me ’Of mice and men’ is the kind of story that has a moral at the end, it is short and to the point, but at the same time a heart touching tale. Eventhough it seems to be a story with a moral, I could not think what it was, it left me confused, but despite this it is still a great story, in touch with real life.
