the year is 1979 I cant remember it, I wasnt even born!.
but this was the year michael would turn 21, and some questioned mikes ability to perform solo without his jackson 5 back up team.
after starring on ’’the Wiz’’ in 1978 and working with quincy jones on that project, michael asked if quincy knew any one who would help launch his solo career, quincy was excited and offered to do it himself!.
there buisness together would see mike through off the wall, thriller and bad. 3 of the greatest albums ever recorded.
its good to pay homage to where it all began, .

now to talk about the product, a 10 song album with a mix between disco and a new feel that ushered in the electric 80s.
it was the album where michael had a good old afro!, gotta love afros!.

even today the music still holds up well.
