This weekend we went to Oh!Calcutta, Pune, for lunch which is on Dhole patil road.
The inside I found very nice with good decoration, pictures of Bengali legends, Bengali books, old rail station clocks etc. After we (4 of us) settled down we have 2 options either to go for a buffet lunch (cost around 550/- per head, offered only in weekends) or normal dining we opt for the later one, here I want to mention that among us-2 were Bengali including me and one was Gujrati, and another one was Marathi. We have ordered Kancha (not fully ripened) Aamer Sarbat with Jaljira, it was awesome. In starter we order mochar (banana bud) chop, fish fry, murg fry.
Every item is awesome specially that fish fry, then we ordered main course- 2 Mutton biriyani(one taken later), Bhetki mach(fish)-er paturi, kancha lanka(green chilly) chicken and lucchi(special bengali puri). All the items were superb in taste, specially Biriyani.
We finish our lunch with chutni and misti dai(sweet curd) again awesome in taste. We all were full with pleasure and satisfaction even my non-bengali friends. The prices were on the higher side, total bill come around 2700/- for 4, but its complete value for money I must say. So, I recommend all you people out there to visit that place. I will visit it again, thanks, bye.
